Short CV

He is an Environmental scientist, and he is currently a PhD candidate in Coastal Oceanography. In addition, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Infrustructure Engineering.

From 2010 to 2019 he was a visiting Laboratory Teaching Assistant at the Department of Civil Engineering TE, T.E.I. of Thessaly and taught the lab modules of “Open channel flow”, “Pipe flow”, “Environmental protection and public works” and “Solid waste management” for 17 consecutive semesters.

Additionally he worked at the Laboratory of Physical Geography (Faculty of Geology & Geoenvironment, UoA) and the Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry (Department of Chemistry, UoA) from 2011 – 2019 by providing technical and scientific support in research projects on river deltas, beach zones, river catchments, fluvial geomorphology, coastal indicators of relative sea level changes, coastline stability, climate change (past, present and future), coastal oceanography, sediment dynamics and chemistry of aquatic systems (micro-environments).

He has authored or co-authored >25 papers in international peer-reviewed scientific journals and proceedings of international conferences.
